📅 This Year’s Rainy Season Ended on June 8 (Saturday)!
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the rainy season in Okinawa officially ended on June 8 at 11:00 AM.
This ties the previous record set in 2015 for the earliest end of the rainy season ever!
Reference:
- Average rainy season end: Around June 21
- Last year (2024): Around June 20
👉 This year, the rainy season ended nearly 2 weeks earlier than usual! ☀️
☔ How Much Rain Did Okinawa Get This Year?
While this year’s rainy season was short, some areas still saw significant rainfall.
