🚍 Getting There, Transportation Tips, and Local Insights

Okinawa’s latest and biggest attraction, Jungliera (ジャングリア), is set to open on July 25, 2025 in the northern part of the main island (near Nago City).
Think of it as a jungle-themed theme park meets island resort, surrounded by nature and packed with fun for families, couples, and thrill-seekers alike.

If you’re visiting Okinawa this summer — this is the hot new spot you won’t want to miss!

🏞️ What Can You Do There?

The exact details are still under wraps, but early previews show:

  • Jungle-themed rides and attractions
  • Water zones and relaxing nature trails
  • Shops, food stalls, and official hotels nearby

It’s being called “Okinawa’s Jurassic Park”, blending nature, fantasy, and adventure. Sounds wild? We think so too.

🚌 How to Get to Jungliera — Without Driving

Since it’s located far up north on the island, the park is preparing transportation just for visitors:

🚍 Jungliera Express Buses

A special shuttle service, Jungliera Express, will run daily 50–57 times across 6 routes:

  • From Naha, Motobu, Nago, and other areas
  • 12 round trips daily from Naha
  • Adult fare: 2,500 yen, Children: 1,250 yen
  • Other routes are reservation-only and cost just 500 yen per seat

💡 Tip: Some Naha buses do not require reservations!

🚗 Parking Options (In Case You Rent a Car)

  • Park lot at Jungliera: 2,000 yen per day (1,126 spaces)
  • Nearby paid parking: 500 yen/day (3 locations, 550 spaces)
  • Free parking: about 500 spaces available too
➡️ Free shuttle buses connect outside parking areas to the park!

📱 On-Demand Ride Service – Yes, Uber-style!

A ride-share style system will also launch!
You can book a ride via app or phone, and pay 500 yen when you get off. Locals can use it too!

🛑 Crowd Control & Safety Measures

To avoid traffic jams and accidents:

  • Daily ticket limits will be set
  • Opening hours may shift to avoid busy times
  • Locals’ roads will be kept clear during rush hours

“We want people to enjoy Jungliera without needing a car. Let’s make public transport cool in Okinawa’s north!”
Vice President Sato, Japan Entertainment
