Today I want to introduce one of my wife’s favorite pancake spots — Cafe Yodare no Ouji (literally “Cafe Drooling Prince”) in Haebaru Town 🍴✨.
It was our go-to place for little celebrations and special days.
Not many tourists know about it, but it’s super popular among locals. If you’re looking for a cozy, local cafe experience near Haebaru, this is the spot! ☕🍰
Exterior & Location
You’ll find the cafe on the 2nd floor of a brick building, just near the Tsukazan Intersection.
It’s located above a SoftBank store — very easy to spot.

The cafe has a spacious, clean interior with plenty of seating options.
You’ll find sofa seats, tatami (Japanese-style) seating, and private rooms — very family-friendly and fully barrier-free, so it’s easy to visit with strollers or wheelchairs.
The place is always lively with local moms’ groups and families, giving it a warm and welcoming vibe ✨.

The highlight of the menu is the “Luke Prince’s Fluffy Pancake” (1,000 yen), which is freshly made to order and takes about 20 minutes to prepare.
The batter uses fresh eggs from a local farm (Chura Tamago) and Okinawan milk, with no baking powder — creating a naturally soft and fluffy texture.
The pancakes aren’t too sweet, so even if you’re not big on sweets, you’ll likely enjoy them.
You can also customize your pancakes with toppings like fresh fruit or ice cream 🍓🍨 — highly recommended!
More Than Just Pancakes: Try the Roast Beef Sandwich 🥪
One of my personal favorites is the “Honey Honey Roast Beef Sandwich” (¥980).
It’s packed with house-made roast beef, rich tartar sauce, crisp lettuce and onions, and topped with a unique honey-mustard grain sauce — absolutely delicious! 💯✨
From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, there’s a great morning menu with specials.
Pizza, sandwiches, and burgers are also available for takeout — perfect if you’re on the go 🎁.
